Are we ready for LS elections 2019?

As the calendar gets closer towards yet another fractious general election of the biggest democracy in the world, are we even prepared for it?

Are we doing our homework right? What are we referring to for getting our facts aligned?

When I say, I'm updated about the information around my world I just mean I read newspaper, I read magazines, I've subscribed to the news channels, or I'm listening to the radio. But, how precise has it remained in today's world, specially in the political realm and the equations around that?

We should always keep in mind that the mass-media outlets are large companies which are operated for profit. This means that mainstream news across the world is susceptible to a business deal.

Network18 Group, one of the biggest broadcaster of India, is owned by Reliance Industries which is dependent on government policies. Zee News, again a big news giant, is owned by Subhash Chandra who is an MP and is backed by BJP. Republic TV again has a major investment by BJP parliamentarian. NDTV India was always a pro left-wing newschannel. AajTak, clearly visible as right-wing aligned. Sun TV, one of the most popular is south India, is driven by DMK.

Having mentioned all this, do I mean that it's something new or we should do something about these alignments.
"No" for the news channels, but "Yes" for ourselves. We can definitely not do much about how the mainstream media are being fueled. But, we can surely be cognizant about it and be firm on our own observations about the political parties. The biggest democracy in the world can still be successful to some extent if we don't get influenced by any deceptive orchestrations. We can stick to our basics and just think about our constituency while voting (and not about Rahul Gandhi becoming out prime minister). Knowing that the major source information has ceased to be neutral, we can go thru the headline of the manifesto (available on the election commission's website).

The most important is to give back to the society. Educate them rightly. If possible, discuss and debate! Educate the sections with lower access to the right information who are more vulnerable to the manipulation of votes.

We can just work together to make a better society. As Michael Jackson rightfully said -

"Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race"

While getting to much indulged into your job role, don't forget that you have to be a good human being first.

Thanks!

P.S. It's mere a personal thought of mine and I'm still learning. Help me learn more and improvise @

This is an interview experience at redbus' Bangalore office.

I was interviewed by @redbus Bangalore at their office in Leela. And this is the sequence of event -
Date : 7th Dec. 2018
1. Round one :  I cleared.
2. Round two : went really well.
3. HR declares my rejection.
4. I challenge their panel and their engineering manager  interviewes me to find out that the second round was miss evaluated.
5. It hurts their ego because at some point even I cross questioned their credibility.
6. Engineering manager's interview was supposed to be the decider, which ended on a positive note.
7. My loud voice against their miss  evaluation of 2nd round hits them hard and they told that I'll have to face 3 more technicals to which I was ready
8. They were too confused and  they took two more technical round which went good again and the panel was happy.
9. They asked me to leave as it was a little late that evening.
10. Even today I'm waiting to hear back from the HR.

This is not to hold anything against any Interviewer firm but to understand that -
1. Even if it's a human error, you should acknowledge it and be flexible to sort this out a positive manner.
2. If it's a mishandling of the case, be deligent about it and don't, pretentiously, commit a subtle mistake in attempt to play over the candidate's mind.

To fellow aspirants - Learn from it and atleast try to analyse the future with such environment.
Remember, it(any interview) should always be a two-way deal. They need you more than you do. Ask all the questions which come accross your mind to ensure that the interviewing firm is the right fit for you.

To fellow interviewers - Try to understand how it tosses your respect in the industry.
